Bob Cain starts your day on Oldiez 96! Get up and get going with a silly smirk that makes everyone around you a little bit nervous. Bob's favorite movies are Airplane, Naked Gun and Madagascar. If you enjoy these movies you'll enjoy Bob in the morning. If you don't, you'll wonder why the FCC would ever allow him near a radio station. Bob received his radio broadcasting degree right here in the Mohawk Valley, at Herkimer County Community College (although the college will probably deny it.) He was even allowed to serve as the college station's Program Director during his last semester.
Bob started his radio career in Little Falls working overnights and covering the Little Falls Mets while working as the Mets public address announcer. During that time Bob met several future major league stars including Kenny Lofton, Marquis Grissom and Todd Hundley. Bob is an avid baseball and football fan following the Red Sox and Dolphins. He also enjoys playing fantasy baseball and football. According to Bob we all have a dream and mine is pretending to manage 30 players whose combined annual salaries exceed the gross national product of most countries.
Since graduating from HCCC Bob has lived and worked in the Utica area. He enjoys everything the area has to offer, including the best little zoo in the country the Utica Zoo, with his wife Kim and their children Anastasia, Araella, Alivia and Isaiah.

Jim Rondenelli is a life-long Utica resident who graduated from Herkimer County Community College in 1980 with a degree in Radio-TV Broadcasting. After a brief stint as a part-time sports reporter with the Utica Observer-Dispatch, Jim began his radio career at Utica's WRUN radio in 1982.
Today, spends most of his time working in the newsroom at our sister station, Newsradio 950 WIBX. Jim begins his workday in the middle of the night, preparing the newscasts for not only WIBX, but also for Oldiez 96 and the other Regent Broadcasting stations. That's a lot of news to prepare, and he has to have it all ready by the time he begins his first newscast on WIBX at 5:00AM.
Jim is an avid sports fan and collector of sports memorabilia. He also enjoys listening to music, biking and playing golf... although he refuses to divulge his handicap!
